Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

Description

Nihon Kohden Automatic External Defibrillator Cardiolife AED-9231-509 is a small automated external defibrillator. A pad is placed on the chest of an unconscious patient due to heart attack or cardiac failure. This device automatically checks the electrocardiogram (automatically analyzes the electrocardiogram). As a result, it determines that it is better to administer an electric shock button. It will instruct you to administer an electric shock using a voice guide and a blinking control button.

Features:

• The rescue sequence (lifesaving procedures) of this device consistent with the 2005 guidelines, recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• This device analyzes the electrocardiogram and if it detects a heart rhythem (heart rate) that would warrant an electric shock, it will instruct you to press the button
• If the first electric shock does not save life, use CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for 2 minutes
• The first electric shock is set to a low current and subsequent electric shock are set to a high current
